Interesting for all ages. Good quality

Great puzzle. Interesting for all ages. It's always in the pocket of our holdall/diaper bag for travel and short trips. Nice look and good quality. I plan to buy more different types to have more creative options. The downside is that this particular package doesn't come with an "ideas book" and travel case (I've seen other models that have them, but I'm not willing to pay an extra $10 for a booklet and case).

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Best Travel Toy

We love our Tegu bricks. This is the third set my son has received and they are designed for travel. As they are magnetic there is little chance of losing them on the car/plane. They are connected in a rectangle for easy storage. My toddler got his first set at one year old and two years later he is still actively playing with it. They grow up with kids and even entertain adults (like someone played with them and made different shapes while my kid was sleeping during a very long stop).

Pros
  • Outstanding Design
Cons
  • Some Insects

The second set we bought.

This is the second set of these blocks we have bought for our 18 month old son. He likes to play with it by himself on the fridge and sometimes we get him a baking tray to build a cube with. These blocks are durable and worth the money. We bought them first because they are safe and kids can't get to the magnets to put in their mouths. I like that they wash up easily and the surface of the wood is smooth and durable. If you think this review was helpful to you, please let me know.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Thin

Hope for more interest.

I read the reviews and I knew that due to the large packaging, the number of magnetic points is limited. I assumed that they would achieve the goal better. Thing is, my daughter wasn't interested and it was a bummer. She used more energy for ordinary blocks than for these. The magnetic poles throw them off balance. They aren't strong magnets, so tall towers aren't a must. Even some of the recommended designs on the back of the box don't hold up. This makes their toy almost two-dimensional. So…

They fit Novelty & Gag Toys

I'm pretty sure I got the returned one, minor scratches, no big deal. The magnets aren't that strong when you pick up the pieces, they come apart pretty easily, that's okay too, I bought these for our little one and if they were stronger he would have a hard time pulling them out. separately. In the meantime, he enjoys watching them bond together, putting them on the fridge and moving them around. The paint is peeling as he pushes and throws them together. They're fun but I don't think they're…

  • This is amazing

Wouldn't recommend for toddlers, great for older kids

I'm sending it back and here's why; The front picture said age 0+ so I figured all the pieces were assembled into one toy and you could change its shape. (Considering it's perfect for restaurants and cars). There are 6 in stock (as stated on the box which I missed). The figures shown are difficult to make, not all sides are magnetic. I'm afraid my 1 year old will try to put it in his mouth and I will never take him into a car or a restaurant. If you have older children, that would be great…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

2 year old loves it - needs a carry case.

I bought this for my 2 year old. The plan is to use it as an active activity for restaurants, meetings, outings, etc. I also bought an 8 piece travel set for my 5 year old. No case/carrying bag is included. Even if you don't plan to take it with you, you need it. I happen to have this zip bag that works. It would be nice if this set came with a bag of 8 as they cost the same. On the back of the box are pictures of all the things you can make with this set. Great idea, especially for children…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

  • Not sure

A very creative toy and lesson on magnets in a bottle

Bought several Tegu sets (boat, spaceship and robot) for my son. They are very sweet. They look like wooden Lego bricks held together with magnets. Each set comes with a design booklet and you can use the pieces to create different shapes. From this set of boats you can assemble, for example, a spaceship, an airplane and even some animals. Sets can also be combined. The sets also provide a good introduction to magnets. Each part has poles and attracts or repels other parts depending on which…

Pros
  • Easy installation

  • There are more interesting options.
