Easy Installation: Replacement Parts

Everything about this product is great! The only thing is the real converter box was different from what you see in the picture. Not sure why but it still works. I would recommend this product. You can easily find a website that gives you clear installation instructions with pictures of the people who bought and installed.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • May Damage

Easy to install, plug and play wiring harness.

Very easy to install, if you want to install the harness at the dealer or mechanic watch the youtube video and do it yourself! The only tools you need are something to cut the tape or zip ties and a cutter or screwdriver to pry the plastic plugs on the inner panels. Connects directly to the seat belt on my 2005 Outback station wagon.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Only available in white

This matched my Outback 06's factory suspension perfectly, all went well. Checked with a test lamp, everything is OK. After a few months I went to use it and nothing. Trailer does not start. Tried it on another famous good trailer and still nothing. It's too late to return. Purchase of a Curt device which we hope will work better.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

I love plug and play electronics

My universal trailer plug had a short brake light and was quite old and showing its age. Didn't want to waste time chasing the short, so I replaced it with this plug and play cable and BAM instead! Works perfectly and installation was easy. Of course, universal ones are cheaper, but in my opinion, the extra money was worth it for not soldering and splicing. There are also trunking along the entire length of the wires, which are purchased separately on inexpensive universal assemblies. And this…

Very easy to install. works perfectly.

Easy installation. On my 2001 Outback station wagon, I simply snapped off the trunk trim on the passenger side just below the storage box. There is a small white socket for connection. When I'm not using it I just put it in the hold and when I'm using it I just hang it on the tailgate. If it's closer to the center you can close the tailgate on it without cutting the cord, just pinch it a little and that's it, but there's a gap so you don't have to go through the grommet in the floorpan when you

2000 Forester: APPROVED

Got this to entertain my in-laws that my Gay Pride Van can tow. Indeed, my "offroad crawler zombie apocalypse rally car” can pull with the right accessories. This device plugs into an unused socket next to the spare tire and you can retrieve it through the sunroof or through the lower sockets with a small modification. I tested it with the trailer and found that the trailer has a short circuit. I thought it was $30 wasted on a blown harness. Lo and behold, this magic black box has a CHAIN…

Easy to install on Outback

I can't say how well it works as I haven't had it that long. However, the installation was clean and easy. The one for the Subaru Outback has a connector on one end and lots of 4 pin trailer wires on the other. The single plug has a built-in fuse. To install, I removed some interior panels and exposed the lamp socket. I hooked up the module to it, routed the wiring under the skin, and routed the trailer harness through the rubber plug in the boot liner. It is completely invisible and there are…

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose

  • There are flaws
