Perfect FIT in trailer accessories

Perfect fit for my 2010 Jeep Liberty Sport. Everything just hangs together. I bought an extra pack of black zip ties to keep everything nice and clean. Take your time routing the battery cable and use this kit to connect directly to the back of the taillights, works really well. I was very happy that I didn't have to splice or cut anything on my very expensive car.

Pros
  • 16 gauge stranded wire with 4 pin connector and cap; Brake/Turn Signal Circuit Capacity 4.2A; 7.5 A capacity of the rear light circuit; ModuLite HD Enhanced Security Module
Cons
  • Security

Poor pigtail design for external accessories

It was easy to install by following a YouTube video. It worked fine for a month, then the passenger side blinked frequently and then stopped altogether. I found that the cause of the problem is the braid running behind the lantern. Bending it sharply to one side will solve the problem. In short, the pigtail is a bad design. The dealer should send me another one free of charge.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive

Everything fits and works as it should.

The instructions provided were well written and explained everything I needed to do in the back of my car. It's pretty unclear how to route the power cable from the left rear corner to the battery in the left front corner. This was the only tricky part of the setup as you had to lift the car high enough to crawl under it front to back.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Zero

Easy to install on the connectors

I installed this on my 2008 Jeep Liberty. Took me about 45 minutes. My only recommendation is to watch how-to videos on YouTube and get yourself a fairly large pair of crimping tools or channel locks. The wire connections included in the kit are quite heavy and I struggled to insert them properly with regular sized pliers. I routed the black battery wire through the chassis frame on the driver's side and back to the control box. There were plenty of zip ties for the job.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Little things

Piece of the cake! good for hardware

I have a 2010 Jeep Liberty and installed it in less than 30 minutes with minimal effort. The hardest part is routing the battery power cable to the back as it needs to be hidden and secured. Otherwise it's great. It's plug and play. There is a video on YouTube showing how to disassemble the back of a Liberty to install the wiring harness. It's not specific, but it's the same concept and it will be very helpful if you review it before you start. It's accurate and shows exactly what to do.

Pros
  • Price
