12-point opening fits double hex (12-sided), hex, and square-shaped fasteners. Socket geometry is designed to apply force to flat sides of fasteners and not the corners, preventing round-off. Deep-length sockets reach into wells and accommodate the excess threads of longer shafts. Extra-large die-stamped size markings are easy to read and can’t wear off. Polished, chrome-plated finish easily wipes clean and is highly resistant to corrosion. Four detent grooves provide a secure connection with the drive tool. Beveled inner rim of the socket opening helps guide it smoothly onto fasteners. Overall Socket Length: 2.49 in. Socket End Diameter: 0.67 in. Drive End Diameter: 0.67 in. Socket Well Depth: 0.75 in.

Tekton never fails.

I was a bit skeptical about tecton at first, I've been using them professionally for about a year, I can't say anything good about the tools you bought. I have about $1,500 worth of various Tekton tools which is over 10,000 tool cart tools and I think Tekton has the best warranty.

Perfect for what I need! A+

Just what I needed to fix my BMX bike. It's narrow enough to fit into the seat post clamp without scratching my clamp. My cloud is fairly sparse and has just been powder coated and I was concerned that my other 12 point 8mm socket was too thick to rub against the new paint. It worked perfectly

Good match with what I needed

I first bought a DeWalt version of this head, 11mm, 12 point, deep. It was too short, more like a medium length rosette. This outlet lived up to expectations. I already have some faith in Tekton bushings so I went with them without hesitation. I chose DeWalt to start with as I've had a more consistent experience with them, but their product was just misadvertised. I always recommend all NEW Tekton products, especially sockets.
