Great Telephone Connection Solution

Based on my experience, this modular connector is a game-changer when it comes to creating a solid telephone connection. The stranded wire ensures greater flexibility and longevity, making it a good investment for the office or home. The ease of installation is a pro, but the connector is not compatible with all types of telephone wires.

Weak metal pins make crimping impossible

This is just awful. The pins will flex left/right, preventing the pins from fully inserting into the wire. I hooked up one end of the phone line four times and still had to use a few pets to make enough contacts to hook them up. The device works, but I do not recommend this connection.

Really hard to find

These connectors are of the 4P4C type which means they have 4 width positions and 4 connection points. They do not work like regular 6P4C phone jacks (wider but same 4 jacks) and due to their smaller width they will not work with most RJ11 connectors and adapters. They are typically used to connect a handset to a base station. They are also used to connect other non-phone devices. My keyboard gate opener uses this style so it helped me make a new cable that was damaged.
