It was lots of fun to look at the moon with this thing. The details you can see are amazing. My phone has two lenses on the back so the phone adapter doesn't work very well as there isn't a single point to match it with. I just manually held the phone at just the right distance from the eyepiece to get a truly amazing photo. It's enough to make people oooh and gasp at the image quality.

The telescope is not what I imagined looking through the telescope. It's very difficult to get the right focus. With minimal use, the parts literally fell off and nobody touched them. You might want to spend a little more for better coverage. I spent many months getting the hang of it, ordering new lenses and filters and watching online tutorials. I would suggest looking at online tutorials before buying a telescope.

assembly and usage instructions make assembling IKEA furniture as easy as reading a comic three years ago. The instructions are terrible. If you've never used anything like this, good luck. It seems super simple and that's why everything is so confusing, everything is still upside down. There is no information on the use of this telescope. My dad bought this for me for Christmas 2020 so I'm reconsidering buying it. I have loved all things space travel and planets/stars and have wanted a telescope for a number of years and have really enjoyed using this telescope.
