MADE IN THE USA - Bare copper conductor, Cross linked Polyethylene (XLPE) Insulation. RoHS Compliant, UL 4703, 44, 854 rated - Temperature rating: -40ยฐC Min, 90ยฐC Max. 600 V 12 AWG. UV and Sunlight Resistant. Direct Burial rated Applications include: Solar Panels, DC circuits, inverter wiring. The solar cable offered in this listing is 12 AWG which is UL rated for 40A. Using large diameter cable will minimize power line loss in your solar panel system. Choose the size offered above that makes installation easy and simple saving time and money during installation. Great product at an affordable price.

This was my second order for this wire. I will order more if needed. Fair price and excellent wire. I'm wondering if they offer 8 AWG of these?

Good quality at the best price on time

I like that everything arrived on time and complete as promised. Due to courier handling, the rolls could be on the center core, even on a piece of thin-walled PVC 2" thick.

Worked well - solar and wind power

The product worked well in a solar RV system. The wire was laid in hot and sunny conditions, and it only took a few minutes to pull the worst of the wound memory out of the wire. In my opinion this wire is impractical in its packaging at lower temperatures. Copper wire received MC4 connectors with no problems.

Really appears to be 12ga and almost 100 feet long.

Like the others, it's definitely twisted and a real pita to take action against. I put it on a piece of pipe and pulled it out to measure and remove part of the curl. Turns out one of the two I've used so far is 98 feet - 6 inches long. The bare wire diameter matches my 3/32" drill index well (.093), so it's probably a bit smaller, and since .0808 is a good measure for 12 AWG wire, it might be a bit closer to 11 ga. It works great with the [BougeRV Solar Branch Connectors] I got here at Revain.

Great value for money, minimal voltage drop over 200 feet, don't forget to get connectors too.

The wire seems strong and well made. I was disappointed when I unpacked the product to find that it was not on the reel making it very difficult to insert. It was wound up, just not on a spool. I bought the 500ft to make a 200ft positive and 200ft negative run from my solar array to my cabin where the battery pack and charge controller is located. I saw 80 volts PV on my charge controller from my 4 panels at 20 volts each. I don't think I'll lose almost no voltage at 200 feet from the chargeโ€ฆ
