This was easy to install in my 500 gallon R/O water tank to turn the system on and off when the tank is drained. The instructions were weird but clear and unnecessary for my purposes. I had to wrap zip ties around each side of the cable to keep it in place. The switch has been working as expected since installation.

The float often shuts off the pump before the float is in the vertical position. Often the swimmer would lie on their side and cut off the current. UPDATE I changed my rating from one star to three. The buyer answered my question and suggested that the distance from the float to the cargo should be 6-12 inches and this solved my problem. I still only gave the item 3 stars because this suggestion should have been in the instructions.

is a float switch. The nice thing is that it's dual (either floating up or down) - meaning it's a switch that can be wired to operate in either direction, up-down or vice-versa. The wire cross-section is suitable for the boosters and pumps for which it is designed and is of sufficient length. While you usually do your own wiring, wire will do for most applications.
