It's big: kettle

As a result, I gave it to a friend. It was too big for what I needed it for - you need to make a lot of tea/water for the tea to brew as the tea is not at the bottom of the container. I wasted so much tea when I just wanted a small glass or two.

Makes a good cup of tea.

I used to use a microwave to drink tea and decided to set up a tea service counter in my kitchen. This kettle is very convenient and I press the 200 degree button and then the ON button and after a minute PRESTO the water is the perfect temperature and makes good tea.

Temperature markings are wrong.

Incorrect temperature marking. They should show 160, 180, 200, and 212 degrees. I tested it first with my instant read thermometer and 175 degrees was 160, 195 was 180 degrees so I looked at the manual and it says the correct values. I'm very picky about my tea so this disappointed me. Also, it takes three on-off cycles to reach 180. Otherwise everything seems to be working fine.

What happened to quality control?

I ordered this kettle after much research and was so happy to receive it but when it arrived I found it had a broken base which wobbled back and forth. The cable plugs neatly into the hole provided, so this isn't a problem. It would drive me crazy if this thing wobbled every time I turned the kettle on and off. Just a disappointment. If I paid thirty bucks for it I'd modify it and live with it, but for a $70 kettle you can expect some quality control. I seriously wonder if I was sent one thatโ€ฆ

AVOID - Updated Review - Loved it initially but now afraid to leave it at

I don't use the keep warm function so I can't confirm if the kettle has issues with it like other reviewers have. It looks great, heats water quickly and works really well for that. Reason why 5 stars against one star. A few weeks ago I was woken up in the middle of the night by a beeping sound. I approached and found all the buttons blinking and the kettle beeping. Removing the kettle didn't do anything, nor did pressing a button. I ended up having to turn it off. I had to leave it unpluggedโ€ฆ

KEEP WARM THE best in coffee, tea and espresso

So this is my first time buying a kettle and I love it. I love that it can work with both tea bags and loose tea in the brewer. The small handle for removing the tea infuser doesn't really get too hot after the tea is brewed, so you can easily remove the tea without over-boiling it, causing your drink to become too strong. At first I thought the Keep Warm feature wasn't working, but after playing around with it a bit I figured out how to get it to work. You can select the keep warm function and
