Accurate Temperature Reading Tool

This temperature probe is a great addition to my tools and home improvement arsenal. The 3D probe ensures accurate readings in all situations and the platinum temperature resistor ensures durability. The only downside is that it may be pricey for some. Overall, a great investment for any DIYer or professional in need of a reliable temperature reading tool.

Bought 2 times, both defective

The PT1000 should have a resistance of 1 kΩ at 0°C and about 1.3 kΩ at 100°C. I bought 2 at different times and figured hey if one breaks it's good to have a backup. Well the first showed 100 ohms at ambient temperature (27C) and the second was an open circuit. Either they sent a PT100 instead and one broke, or they were both broken PT1000s. Sad because the fit and finish looked good and the high temp insulation was pretty good. a bit difficult to crimp, but still.
