Review on Temperature Probe,3D Probe,Temperature Resistor Platinum by Steve Cooper

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Bought 2 at different times, both bad

PT1000 should be 1k ohm at 0°C and about 1.3k ohm at 100°C. I bought 2 at different times and figured hey if one breaks it's good to have a backup. Well the first showed 100 ohms at ambient temperature (27C) and the second was an open circuit. Either they sent a PT100 instead and one broke, or they were both broken PT1000s. Sad because the fit and finish looked good and the high temp insulation was pretty good. a bit difficult to crimp, but still.

Pros
  • ?¡¾GOOD PERFORMANCE¡¿ PT1000 sensors can directly replace thermistors in your 3D printer without adding an amplifier board like PT100 sensors.
Cons
  • Damaged
