Totally honest review.

Lamp was great; if it worked. This is our second. I bought the first one and it worked for about three weeks. It went out just before the cutoff on the way back, which was cool. So I thought I'd try again and send the first one back. I mean I really liked this thing. Who came to exchange and got here on the same day, the remote control fails and the plug behaves as if it has a short circuit. Just save time and choose another brand. I bought this lamp for eyelash extensions. It's not as bright as my ring light, but it does the job. The design is very stylish and modern. The gooseneck is easily adjustable and stays in place. The touchpad on the stand is touch sensitive, convenient and easy to use. The light from this lamp is not sufficient to be used as a light source.

I was hoping to replace my current lamp that lights up my bedroom. Got it as a gift for Christmas and was very disappointed when it was MUCH SOFTER (even on the brightest settings) than my old $20 college floor lamp. It's bright, but the light only covers a very small area. It will blind you if you point it at yourself, but if you don't point it at yourself it won't illuminate anything useful enough. Weak, poor color rendering, screeching power supply

This "12 watt" lamp turns out to be a lot dimmer than the 8 watt Holan table lamp I've had for a long time (both claimed 1000 lumens) ). 12W is the rating of a 24V 500mA power supply, which also produces an annoying high-pitched squeak. The lamp itself consumes about 9.5 watts from the wall, or just under 7 watts from the power supply.
