Tempered Screen Protector AKWOX Scratch Resistant GPS, Finders & Accessories Review

I just applied this to my Garmin Edge 520 which I run on my mountain bike. Everything went smoothly, no bubbles. There are no screen reading problems at all. I think the real test will be if I ever fall hard to see how it holds up.

This product does NOT cover the entire screen of your Edge 520/830. The product is nicely packaged and contains everything you need to apply the screensaver. However, as you can see, it doesn't cover the entire screen, so you won't be able to fully cover your Gamin Edge. Won't be buying again due to improper fit.

You are very good. They fit well and the display is still perfectly visible while driving. Thank goodness for 4 grand as I screwed up the first try by removing it and then eventually dropping it on the floor. But before I threw it in the trash, I grabbed a knife to see if I could use it to scratch the protective film, and I couldn't. Impressed. Good value for money.

The screen protector was pretty easy to install but it's a bit smaller than the 520 screen and its sides aren't straight like the 520 screen sides. I adjusted a corner and a side protector with a corner and one side of the screen and noticed a small gap (0.5-1.0mm) between the edge of the protector and the edge of the screen on the other side. This was the easiest glass lid (or any lid) installation I've ever done. Cardboard box protecting the set. Very basic instructions are on the back of the box it came in which included wet and dry cleaning wipes and a sticky lint remover (which I didn't use). which really helped me put it on without risking touching the Edge's screen surface.
