We have ordered blinds for our windows but they will arrive and be installed in a few months. As my husband and I have a bedroom on the first floor we really need something on the windows for privacy. We ordered these shades and they really fit the bill. The hardest part was cutting them to size. Installation was very easy. They come with plastic clips so the blinds can be clipped in to only cover half of the window if you don't want to lower them.

It was great for privacy until we got permanent window covers. You couldn't see through them from the outside and they held up well without falling off. Which puts me at a disadvantage - they were so sticky that when you took them off they left marks on the window that were almost impossible to remove. On one of the windows my husband taped it to the glass and with the help of slime and a razor blade it was still VERY difficult to tear off. For the other windows, he glued them to the window…

They were perfect as a temporary solution to closing my windows. They were very easy to cut (I literally used scissors), they were easy to install and they even looked attractive enough. I was expecting them to be paper but they were actually some kind of mesh fabric so I think I can reuse them which makes them even more useful. That's great! I bought both fabric and paper but I'm here to replace my paper umbrellas with these, they are so much better. You actually look pretty. Easier to use than paper. Easier to cut to size. It's easier to calm down. Should the adhesive accidentally stick to the lampshade during operation, it will not peel off like paper. Mine are just as secure as when I put them on. We just moved into our apartment and it doesn't have blinds 😞 so they fit great 😊 as we just spent a lot of money moving and not much had money to spend on expensive blinds. These temporary shades offer excellent value for money. The glue is excellent. I've had a couple of these blinds installed in my home office for about 6 months with no problems. They are relatively easy to install. Very easy to trim. My big gripe is that while they are easy to cut through, the plastic is flimsy.
