Why didn't Apple do this sooner?

This makes connecting the Apple charger much easier - the charger now sits firmly against the wall and doesn't protrude where it could be accidentally stepped on. The only downside is the pins don't fold, but they obviously can't fold because of hitting the charger and when they curl up they still stick out. So I see why they don't fold, and the better angle when plugging into the wall more than makes up for the pins sticking out of my backpack.

  • So far so good

A cleaner way to connect!

This is a great solution to a problem where the power supply sticks out a few inches from the wall and is in a position where it can also easily fall out. This seems like the best current solution, although they would be improved if they had foldable styluses like the original Apple version and offered a reverse direction option so you could detach the adapter to the left rather than the right. They are also slightly more expensive, $25.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not the best

Imperative update is best in Computers & Accessories category

Why Apple doesn't make such connectors at all is beyond me. This is an essential accessory. Everything is so well thought out, right down to the routing of the power cord just below the unit. If I can say one thing that might not live up to the highest expectations, it's that the pins don't fold like they do with Apple. The price might seem a bit high, but if you're used to buying Apple products, you're already used to paying a little more for accessories. I would definitely buy it again and…

Such an ingenious object needs a solution.

I always hated how my MBP PSU stuck out six inches from the wall. Inevitably he will fall or be kicked or something. This item is great for keeping the power supply flush with the wall. The only problem I had with this item is that the pins do not fold like the original adapter. Throw that in your computer bag and you now have two prongs just waiting to bend down, poke a hole in your pocket, whatever.

  • Feels good

Does exactly what you want it to do

First off, it's a shiny little plastic plug. it flips your apple power adapter flush against the wall = awesome. However, the internal connector is a bit loose and you must push the connector FIRMLY into the adapter for it to work. Apple plugs don't have this problem and for $25 it seems to have fixed it. Like others, I'd like the pins to fold, but that's just not possible without enlarging the fork as the pins can't go in from the side. This works with apple forks because they fold wide on the
