This works way better than I thought based on the reviews. It's small and works as easily as dental floss (attached image with instructions on back of package). However, the floss is a little thicker than I like and isn't waxed as other reviews have noted, so it frays easily. I was able to finish my mouth with a length between teeth with just a few clicks of adjustment, but for my husband's choice I think we'll wrap a better thread around the gear for hard-to-reach areas. I bought these as my first batch of reusable floss and was very disappointed. The floss broke after a few teeth each time, forcing me to reload 3-4 times per use. The idea is good, but the implementation is not. Save money, buy something else.

I didn't know I was buying 5 packs so I shouldn't complain too much. I would be happy to get just one for the same price. However, I now have 4 supplements left. and very upset that they all arrived with the packaging falling apart, making storing the other 4 unused ones a bit less sanitary. Although the product is great. Any glue they used in the packaging to attach the plastic piece to the paper isn't strong enough to withstand the retail and shipping process.
