This was a very easy install on our 2020 Jeep JLU. Supplied screws allow an offset to the body, so that the strut does not cause wear on the body paint. It offers two mounting locations and an antenna/flag. Another great Teraflex product.

I'm a big fan of Teraflex and their products. Works well and keeps the antenna in place. I had to scrape off some of the paint to ground my antenna to the jeep but other than that this product is very nice and good quality. Added some photos to show where it mounts on the tailgate.

Fits my JLU perfectly. Looks great. Excellent quality. Quick and easy installation. Paired with Firestik Reinforced Bolt, 18ft Coax Cable, 4ft Firestik and Uniden Pro 520xl Radio. Amazing all around. I was able to dial my SWR to 1.1 and 1.0. It was the perfect mount to bring everything together. Provides a solid foundation.

Overall I like the product but there are errors in the instructions (Rev. C) that may damage the product or your jeep! Check the torx dimension on the pivot bolts. The instructions say T45, but the screws on my 2021 Willys JLU are actually T55. Also, flange nuts require a 14mm head instead of a 15mm head. Be careful and have fun

Mounts easily but is too thick for traditional Comet or Diamond UHF connections. The hole also had to be drilled out. I broke the UHF antenna mount plan, re-drilled it for a thick NMO mount and it worked fine. I think if you use some sort of UHF feed through an extension cord it might work for UHF connections, but I didn't want an extra connection there.

I bought this to install a ham radio antenna on a 2020 Jeep JLU Recon Edition. Find out after removing the 100lb 33in dirt from the rear rack. That it's only for a standard jeep door hinge. The hardware is too short for a heavy Mopar carrier. I emailed Teraflex asking if there was a workaround or longer hardware. They sent me a quick mail saying it's not just for the standard loop. So save your money and look elsewhere if you have HD hinges.

I was scratching my head trying to figure out how to install an antenna on my 2020 JL and came across this great kit. Exactly what I needed! Quality?. could not be better. Video installation guide nailed the deal. Extremely helpful. A NOTICE. Torx T-51 (not T-45) is required to remove the pivot bolts. I suspect Jeep may have made changes to the 2020 model(?). Also, due to Jeep's paint finish on the pivot bolt, the bushing had to be gently tapped on the bolt to get a good bite to remove.
