🐶 Terrain D.O.G. Single-Ply Nylon Dog Collar Review

Don't waste your time or money on this collar. It's cheap and thinly made. If you send it back, they will charge you almost $4 for shipping back.

The dyes used in the product are water soluble and will penetrate your dog's coat. I went swimming in the creek with my white dog and his neck was stained.

Check sizes again! Each size has a different length (e.g. 11" or 13"), so you'll know exactly what you need. Soft, durable fabric material that gently hugs our dog's bare neck.

Unfortunately I did not use this until the return date. Cannot be used on a live puppy. You can decorate a scarecrow. The holes are too small to let fittings through. I didn't need to enlarge the holes, but that wasn't possible due to the nylon material. Also, the strap material is too thick to fit under the end fittings.

This collar is exactly what I was looking for. It's single-ply, so not so thick that it's awkward to close, but stiff enough for our ranch. The single layer material also seems more comfortable for my dog. the color is bright and saturated; If I were to design the collar myself, I wouldn't change a thing. In case anyone is wondering, we have fitted a whistle GPS tracker to this collar and it fits perfectly.

My dog has been using it for two months and it has shot quite well. The buckle holes are not reinforced at all, so they will wear out (grow). The buckle parts appear to be aluminum but are dirty. I bought this collar because I chose olive grey, but I ended up buying another collar from an American company that was of better quality (and more expensive). This terrain collar was ok, especially for the price, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I bought one of these blue terrain collars for my dog four years ago and it has held up very well. It's washable, looks good, is very easy to put on and take off for my dog and is not expensive - some people spend more for a few days of dog food than they do on this collar. I noticed that some other reviewers complained about holes in the collar. The collar is not reinforced and it looks like it could break if the dog pulls too hard, but I don't think that's possible as it's a strong corduroy…

My dog wears a 20" collar which I think is pretty standard size but I had a 21" collar and it was still bigger than me was comfortable. (I worry about it popping out if it doesn't fit snugly enough.) Also, I think it's very strong and sturdy, especially for a single-ply nylon collar. Even though the holes aren't reinforced with metal, it still looked very good.
