Share your monitor, keyboard, and mouse between your home desktop and work laptop - saving you a lot of money and headaches and eliminating the need to buy monitors and keyboards (not to mention the space required for additional hardware). Easy to control in multiple ways - 1. buttons on the front, 2. IR remote control (does not include the CR2025 battery), 3. key combinations for the keyboard, 4. mouse gestures-quick change, 5. automatic change in a certain time interval (adjustable). No setup required. Simply plug and play. Supports 4K at 60 Hz, 4: 4: 4 widescreen monitor, KVM with fast switching and with EDID emulators, so that the PC windows do not change in size when changing the computer. Additional USB 2.0 and audio connection - Share a USB hub, printer, microphone, memory, webcam and USB backup drives, etc. between the PCs. Grab the audio from the HDMI device. This eliminates the need to connect additional audio cables to each PC. Multiple operating systems-support Raspberry Pi and other Linux-based systems Unix / Windows / Debian / Ubuntu / Fedora / Mac OS X / Raspbian / Ubuntu; it is recommended to use the basic model keyboard and mouse together.

Cheapest 4K/60Hz KVM I've found

Definitely switched 4K to 60Hz; verified by Windows 10 display settings. This is one of the few KVMs on Windows that switches video at this quality. Keyboard and mouse emulators are VERY basic, so you will lose special keyboard key functions (volume, playback controls, etc.) and all fancy mouse buttons. The mouse is also very slow; So late that I'm now using separate mice (mice?) connected directly to two computers on this KVM. If you're willing to put up with emulator issues, this is a greatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Upgradable

USB section failed after only 4 days

Installed on my desktop and Microsoft Surface Pro 4. I have a USB mouse (Logitech M705 Wireless Interface) and a Kinginston USB keyboard connected to TESmart via an Insignia USB 3.0 hub Switching via USB port. On Saturday (September 14th) when only my desktop was connected, the keyboard and mouse stopped interacting with the desktop. Reset (turn on) your computer and the HDMI/USB switch and it will happen again. This also happened twice today (Sunday - September 15). Tried moving keyboard andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good build
Cons
  • Available in white only

Poor USB connection

I knew that the dedicated USB ports for keyboard and mouse would only support the most basic of devices, and I was ready to connect them to USB peripherals via a hub. I didn't expect that connecting a mouse via KVM would cause it to intermittently freeze, freeze, and then jump across the screen. I have verified that this only happens when the mouse is connected via KVM (either via the mouse's dedicated port or via an additional USB 2.0 port). This makes using a mouse over KVM extremelyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Basic functions work at least

Setup was easy and uncomplicated. Switching between my personal and work laptop has been great for months. Basically my problem is solved. Let's talk about the cons to be aware of. First, the USB slots are very questionable. My mouse port works fine but my keyboard doesn't. I have an ergonomic mechanical keyboard, but I don't see why the switch should be embarrassing. The universal USB connector has problems when using a USB hub, even if it has a separate power supply. There doesn't seem to beโ€ฆ
