Description of Wireless Anemometer - Testo 0560 1410

Measures air velocity, volume flow, and temperature as well as air flow water registers and automatically calculates volume flow (enter duct dimensions simply). Not air density correction required due to design. Measure volume flow water several outlets simultaneously (using multiple smart probes) to adjust system balance. Timed/multipoint averaging to get accurate air flow profiles.

This is a great tool for air balancing and troubleshooting

This is a great tool for air balancing and troubleshooting. My only issue was that the instructions and tutorials for the software were very poor, so it was frustrating for me at first. After getting familiar with the software, it turned into a very useful tool. It does its job reliably and with minimal effort.

Pros
  • Anemometer
Cons
  • Some little things

Works great. I had to fiddle around with the settings in the app a bit. The instructions could be a bit more detailed. It took me 10 minutes to play around with the app to get the measurements I needed and understand them. Otherwise it's great and I've used it a few times as an HVAC professional and it's already paid for itself.

Wind gauge works great. Cons

Bought from a local vendor. Tested on a box with dual evaporators and a fan motor. Pros: Anemometer works great. Cons: The arm fell off while waiting for it to read the same 35.3 degree temperature as a Fieldpiece HS33 multimeter with an attached ATA1 Type-k thermocouple. seconds. I would NOT recommend this device if a fast enough temperature reading has anything to do with your purchasing decision.

Pros
  • Airflow and Air Quality
Cons
  • Exorbitant price
