We ordered this style a few years ago when our son was growing up. This is a great cooler sandal but still closed when you need it. Very durable and withstands all outdoor activities.

I wear women's 7.5 and ordered children's 5, they fit perfectly. Wore them for Josemite 20 Miles last weekend and they have held up great. My fit got a little squishy but that was to be expected, I've run on rivers and lakes so it was nice to have shoes that weren't just barefoot.

This is a solid shoe with a well protective toe cap and a grippy bottom. I want to love them and my 1.5 year old is too young to tell me he doesn't like them but the tops of his feet look awful when I take them off: red marks from folds of stiff fabric that press into his foot. My 8 year old son was wearing a size 2 right now so I ordered these and I agree with other reviewers that they run large. If they were for me I would return them, but kids grow up, right? I like them, they offer good support and protection and are breathable for my sweaty baby. LOL But there are two problems. You are very tough. I can't bend them without feeling like they might start spitting. I think that makes them a little stiffer? Also, we now have about 5 pairs of shoes in the same size for our 17 month old daughter.
