Item arrived clean and in perfect condition. Three side by side fit perfectly across the width of my gecko terrarium. They keep you warm well and I love that I can feed her on the slate knowing she won't swallow the substrate.

After reading the reviews it was a little iffy but for me it was worth the money and it's on it after eating under UV light it stays warm and is so easy to clean, just use hot water and a paper towel and it wipes clean

This is my second purchase of a stone lining/heating platform. I spray it with water and it gives my terrapin the moisture it needs. When walking on it, its toenails are "sawed off", when eating, the beak remains of normal length due to the rough surface of the stone. He loves to sit and eat on it under its warm light, especially when it's sprinkled with water.

I use this in combination with wet skin on my leopard gecko and she really likes it! She spends about as much time with him as she does with her warm spot. It's fairly reliable for shedding and wetting, especially when paired with some moss. I would recommend this product to all reptile owners, not just tortoises. It's also her favorite spot in the bathroom, making cleanup pretty easy. Just know that it can break easily
