🚗 Convenient and Secure TFY Universal Car Headrest Mount Holder for Portable DVD Player Review

Very easy to set up and use with the seat rear facing. If you look at the photo you can see it was a bit loose because my Durango has lower headrests in the back seat. I used binder clips to tighten it up a bit. I highly recommend this product. Entertaining a toddler for 1,100 miles.

We needed something for our 10 inch portable DVD player. I was skeptical about this product but bought it anyway. The design isn't complicated, but it's fully functional and serves its purpose! I'm really surprised how durable it is and how well it can handle a heavy DVD player. We have used it on our Toyota Highlander and Honda Accord (SUV and small sedan) no problem.

I was suspicious of this product from the beginning. Just holding a DVD player with pressure and velcro makes me understandably nervous. However, I tried the product and did not regret it at all. Replacing DVDs with my style DVD player involves taking the player out and putting it back in. The hook pressure is sufficient, but not too high or so low that it poses a risk.

I first bought the TFY universal headrest bracket in March 2018. We love it so much I've just ordered a second mount for both portable DVD screens. It is so easy to put on and take off and it fits perfectly as it can be adjusted to suit your needs. We had no problems, I highly recommend this product! We use ours all the time as both of our families live 3-5 hours away from us.

Overall the DVD player is holding up well, although it's a bit difficult to get the DVD player in and out of this fixture. Of course, every time you change a disc you have to take it out and my 10 year old son had a hard time with it. All in all it works fine. This is a great product and we recommend it because it is easy to use and reliable. The only issue I had was that the DBPower 10.5 DVD player didn't fit very well: I had to fold the player up as it couldn't be played upside down, making it 'thicker/deeper' than the arms and the length of the player became. was a bit longer for the velcro support post, but the post and velcro on this holder are so strong that they still held it.

Really cool gadget! We drove from South Bend, Indiana to Hilton Head, South Carolina (15 hours like driving home) with a 1 year old and a 3 year old! The 1 year old could see it in his mirror and the iPad stayed in place very well. The only reason I splice the star is that it's quite difficult to frequently take it out and put it back in (loading and changing video targets) while driving or riding.
