Easy encrypted file storage: The Linux Unified Key Setup

I like that it's easy to use, you don't have any special skills required (I mean other than knowing how linux works). It also has an option where if your computer gets stolen or lost/destroyed then all of its data can be retrieved from another device using this software! It would just take some time but nothing too bad about having everything backed up in case something happens with my laptop which could potentially damage files etc... If anyone wants their information stored securely please go…

Pros
  • Can store multiple encryption levels within one password
Cons
  • Some cons

The Linux Unified Key Setup - Great option if all else fails

I like that it's easy to set up, use & understand how it works. It also has some pretty helpful scripts in its package as well so you don't have to do everything by hand. If you're looking into this product then make sure you know your requirements before purchasing. You need to be able to answer questions such as "what are my needs", "how often am I going to change keys" etc. This will help determine what key length/type of algorithm would work best with those parameters. We've used LUKS for…

Pros
  • Easy update scripting included
Cons
  • Only two algorithms supported out there; 256bit AES vs 3DES

Good tool for FDE protection and usage

It's easy to use, it works well with my hardware (SSD), I like that you can encrypt as many devices at once without having multiple software packages installed or needing separate keys/passwords per device; however this does make backups more difficult because of how much data needs backing up when using full-disk AES256 encrypted drives! You need some way other than just copying files back & forth from one drive in order not have your entire backup be useless if someone gets access too them…

Pros
  • also good interface design makes things pretty intuitive even newbies will find easier then expected.
Cons
  • So-so
