Excellent cooling performance, easy to use

This is a great thermal pad to replace those cheap, low-performance pads that are all too often found on graphics card components or M.2 drive enclosures. The thermal conductivity of 12.8 W/mK makes it one of the best thermal pads and even compares well with high-quality thermal greases. The pad is easy to trim with regular scissors and I've noticed a significant drop in temperature since switching to this pad. Improved M.2 NVMe Cooling

I bought these to replace the very weak (3.0W/mK) thermal pads that came with several of my external NVMe cases as the Samsung 960 and 970 SSDs still got very hot. (85 versus 90+ without anything). In general, the higher the rating, the more robust and robust thermal pads are, and they're no exception, but not up to Fujipoly's 17.0 W/mK level. They work well enough. Great pads, they really stick after a few heat cycles.

I have tested this on a dyno (not permanent), a washer is included, I cut it before removing it from both supports. It has no stickiness initially (which is a good thing), making it easy to place and "rearrange"/adjust for your application before first use. I've found that it actually has a stranglehold after two heating cycles. As such, this material is ideal for people replacing heatsinks and those who need disposable (almost permanent) thermal pads.
