Do not buy! in water cooling

After 2 years of ownership the leds are not working as intended with the rgb controller it is just white and needed a little tweaking to even turn it on. From what I've found on the internet, this is a common problem. After about a year and a half of work it started leaking around the edges (between metal and glass), I fixed it myself with silicone which only worked for about 6 months before it started. flows on the other side. It's heavy and gets very hot (even before connecting to…

Thermaltake isn't what it used to be -- Thermaltake Pacific TF2

I just built my first water-cooled computer and I'm prone to obsessive-compulsive disorder from the heat. I burned down a gaming rig I built in the late 1990's so I tend to overpay. That's why I bought two Thermaltake temperature and flow gauges. I chose this particular model because I love the clean, minimalist design and the combination of temperature and flow rate really appealed to my builder/geek mentality. Before there were computers, I modified cars (1956 Chevrolet Biscayne, 283 small…

Works, but a little awkward to set up in the case

PRO: It works - it pumps water and on lower settings it's enough. Low (almost) cost. CONS: The lack of an alternative bracket to mount the fan to the base makes it a real headache in the R6 case, and the base is not compatible with other vendors (and three attempts to find one compatible have been unsuccessful - each pump vendor seems different mounting clearances) and the supplied side brackets are not strong enough to support the weight of the filled device. I ended up having to remove one of

LEDs stopped working after 5 months, denied warranty ):

Bought this product about 6 months ago, everything was fine until a month ago. The LED stopped working while my computer was running. Nothing got them working again and it looks like the product is faulty. ThermalTake is not responding to my warranty card which is very disappointing as my build is currently incomplete and I won't have the money to buy a new unit for some time. I saved up many years to build this PC and here it is:

Works Good Good for fans and cooling

This simple looking combination I figured would be the best route for me as it would be my first custom loop. It looks clean and I'm thankful for the mod kit on top. The housing above the pump looks clean. Can't comment on the sound other than I've never heard this thing work and I've got it at around 50%. At 100% twist it makes a little noise, but that's not bad (I play with open ones and it doesn't bother at all). Looks good and I like the big tank * I like the size but Thermaltake could have

working 3 months after first replacing it twice

I hear a lot from ThermalTake: your products look good but fall short in all other departments. I have to say it looked great in my build, especially synced with all my Thermaltake fans. But it took 2 replacements to get one that doesn't leak. I finally have one that works and it only works for three months, that's it. My pump just started leaking, I turned it off to check where the leak is and it's in the same spot as the others. At the pump. This time it got into the motor and exploded so I'm

A better position for the speed control knob is needed.

Good pump, it's a Laing D5 so you know what you're getting. My only concern is that if you're using hard lines you can't really adjust the pump speed after installing and filling the loop without drilling a hole in the bottom of my Thermaltake Tower 900 case. I need the entire system deflate and remove tubing to adjust pump speed. With that said I put spped 3 on the other comments and everything works fine. My GPU on a single 480mm x 45mm radius circuit only gets up to 40C, and my 5.15GHz 8700K
