Nice body case Niche

I had a specific need for my body and other than being ordered/made to measure this was literally the only case on the market (within a reasonable price range) that met my requirements. Background: The case I had before was the Silent Base 601, nice case, the workmanship was flawless and the optics were quite "adult". The case looked great but had TERRIBLE airflow even with Be Quiet Silent Wings 3 fans and 2 360mm radiators. However, my components were quite cold, the ambient temperature and my

Nice but very poor quality

Unfortunately the quality of this case is very disappointing as are some aspects of its design. Here are some of the problems: When removing the cover under the tempered glass, the screws did not catch on the threads in the case and just tightened. It took me about ten minutes to pull and twist these screws to get them out. When I put the tempered glass back on after assembly, the bottom screw goes all the way in and then just rotates in place and doesn't stop. None of the back cover screws…

I think I'm a bit spoiled by the Caselabs SMA8 case for one of my machines, which utilizes all the generous space the SMA8 offers while being surprisingly light, which is best Housing of all time is made. in terms of design and functionality. This replica Caselabs Merlin case is a poor replacement but there aren't any others that fit my needs as I need to make the case as light as possible due to a back injury so those super bulky tempered glass cases are no good. I need a 5 1/4" drive bay for…

Maybe not perfect but I love this thing!

Since my 5 year old i7-2700K 16GB DDR3 computer is great for basic performance, browsing and video playback, I decided to upgrade my GPU to an EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FE to handle all gaming needs to fulfill. Along with the GPU, I decided to buy a spacious Thermaltake Core X71 case, lots of Thermaltake Riing Blue LED 120mm fans, NZXT Kraken G12, and two Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate 360mm monoblocks to power both the CPU and to cool the GPU. I got this case because I knew I wanted an AIO to cool both

Gigantic! But I like it.

Huge, I've only seen a bigger one on another chassis, x9 core. Lots of heatsink support for a custom hinge. Like how the bottom cabinet hides a lot of things from the pump, cables, and hard drives depending on how you set it up. Well packaged and there are no quality defects. There is a good amount of mounting hardware as well as fan extension cables which I believe are for the 7 volt fan mod. It comes with two 140mm blue ring fans which I didn't use. I can't say anything about the quality, but

Inaccurate manufacturing.

I've wanted this case for a long time and was a bit disappointed when I started to build it. Pros: The case is huge! Too big to be honest unless you plan on using your own liquid cooling. Decent and easily accessible filters in almost all fan ducts. Plenty of space to work on builds and good cable management. Options Options for heatsink, fan, and drive placement. Cons: Poor quality control. Bad threads on almost every thumbscrew and tapped hole. The side panels do not close flush. For the…

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

this case is for specific tasks, it is definitely not suitable for everyone. if silence is not important to you, you don’t need a lot of disks, but you need a powerful dropsy or a lot of space for imagination, then this case is for you, for everyone else, there are better and more versatile options, such as those from fractal design. Got pros: one of the cheapest full tovers. the upper part is an exact copy of the supressor f31, all components, even the walls from it fit, plus a large lower…

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

The case is a huge collection of great solutions and. compromises. It is the compromises, and not imperfections, as it may seem at first glance, that the unification of the design of a whole line of cases is to blame. Hence the perforation of the bottom for the PSU, although it can be put on its side, and rather an ersatz-place for it. And yet, what prevented the designers from making a cutout with a plug, or at least a perforation under the top PSU mount to organize better airflow? Or a…

Pros
  • Wide (albeit not limitless) possibilities for installing prefabricated air coolers and organizing the air flow. With proper manual dexterity, you can (although the manufacturer did not say) put a 480mm radiator 30-45mm thick! Plus, you can plug in up to 15*120+1*140 or 11*120+5*140 or even 4*200+7*140 coolers! A strict and neat appearance, both outside and inside, due to the wide possibilities of cable management. All extra wires can be neatly laid and fixed with ties behind the pallet, since there is a lot of space there. Long cables from the front panel, very long, I calmly routed the audio from the front to the external sound card sticking out under the video card, and there was still a lot of length left. Monolithic structure. Despite the thin metal, even the bare frame does not walk and remains rigid (I compare it with the CM ATCS 840, because of the retractable tray and removable rear walls under the PSU, the frame walked rather robustly, it was difficult to avoid backlashes between the panels in the assembly) Ease of disassembly. You can "undress" the case down to the frame, throw out the chassis for the HDD with the rack, the frame for the radiator, the bracket for the video card, you can remove the "filters" (more on them later) and rinse / vacuum. Even the front panel can be removed and dismantled down to the board, even the cables on it are disconnected! A bag of bolts and spare parts and even (!) a removable knurled head for screwing in racks! For the first time I see such a miracle. Incredibly easy installation of disks in baskets. Unbent-put-released-pushed-turned on. Everything. The baskets are fastened tightly both in the chassis and on the back wall, they do not dangle.
Cons
  • Only five baskets for HDD / SSD, the sixth place with the upper arrangement of the chassis for baskets cannot be used - it cannot be installed because of the power and SATA cables. You can stick 4 more 2.5" devices into 5.25" baskets, of course, but that's not the same. Of the two places for installing a power supply unit, the upper one is a profanity or for heavy-duty semi-passives, since immediately below it there is a blank partition and there is simply nowhere for the power supply cooler to take air from. The bottom one is also not so hot - you can only put it on its side, you can’t install it horizontally on the blowing from below, although there is a place for this at the bottom. Hence the choice: either the power supply unit is upside down and heats up from lack of air, but at the bottom, with proper skill, you can cram two 360 radiators, or the power supply unit down and to one side, but only one radiator will fit. The upper side walls dangle if you touch them, but the lower ones sit tight. There is a gap of 2 mm between the glass side and the top panel (but you will notice its figs even from half a meter). The gap between the case front panel and the case, the light from the front coolers is visible. The metal film-filter on the lower sides and at the top-front does not save from fine dust, the real filter is only at the bottom. Change immediately to Samokleikin or analogues. Only two coolers can be placed on the bottom (there are holes for the PSU, but it stands on its side, there are no holes for the cooler), and with a long PSU, only one will fit at the bottom. There are no fasteners for CBO pumps. Even under their branded D5, as I understood from the reviews. The front panel is brought up, and not forward / sideways, due to the excessive height of the case, it is difficult to plug headphones or a USB device into the case under the table. In 2022, you cannot buy removable components such as a frame for coolers / CBOs, chassis and baskets. What the hell, Thermaltake?!

Great product, a pleasure to use.

Bought 2 of these already. Its pros: Spacious. There are no problems with the installation of components; everything fits everywhere; there is no need to rush off. It is possible to install almost any CBO. Price. Practical not flashy design with a minimum of cheap show-offs. Not heavy for its size. There are no extraneous sounds, the glass does not rattle. Anthers are quick-detachable on magnets. With its cons. The metal of the side panels is thin. The threads on the side panel screws are easy…

Good product, more pros than cons.

I bought this case to replace be quie!t Dark Base 900 Pro. Because be quiet! for all its advantages, we blow it very badly, inside we get a bath. When organizing water cooling with one radiator at the top of the case, with the lid open, the temperature of the video card and processor was 15 degrees lower than when it was closed, and this was at half the fan speed. Therefore, I decided to take a more ventilated case. My requirements were for the installation of the following components: mother +

Pros
  • Normal ventilation. Design without any crazy ideas. I won’t particularly describe the advantages, there are a lot of videos and reviews on the network without me.
Cons
  • 1) I would like the metal a little thicker. 2) The front cover is removed inconveniently. Especially from above and below, where the fingers pass with difficulty. 3) When installed in the upper compartment, the power supply has nowhere to take air from. 4) Mount HDD - quiet horror. From the theme "cheap and cheerful." One basket for three disks with some kind of plastic inside, into which the HDD is inserted. The basket itself is attached to some kind of stand. All this design can be transferred to the lower compartment. And under this design, a hole remains in the upper compartment. You seem to be moving this basket down to install the pump on top, and there is a hole instead of attachment points. Make your own stand. 5) Two more HDD mounts at the back from the same series. The same plastic masks attached to the squiggles. 6) When moving the HDD cage down, you will have to remove the metal structure for mounting the water cooling radiator with fans, it is simply not compatible with the cage. 7) Complete fans create a good airflow, there is a backlight, but they are quite noisy. We'll have to remove them from the system altogether. 8) There is no possibility to purchase any accessories for the case.
