I used it to cover my cold air intake in the engine compartment. The glue came off after a few days or a week or so. Useless stuff!

This is not a product from a few years ago. The glue isn't that sticky and the edges have fiberglass flags. If you see this product with a white backing instead of a clear backing, this may be your best bet.

I used this tape to wrap my fuel injectors on a 2001 Jeep Cherokee. was that after towing my boat or a heavy load on a service trailer, if I stopped the jeep and restarted the engine, the engine would misfire or misfire. After applying tape around the nozzles, the issue was resolved.

The best part is that it stopped the "vapor lock" that my '56 Thunderbird could get. This is what happened when I turned off the engine after driving the parade. I doubled the setup where the line went to the air conditioning compressor. The only downside is that the glue used didn't stick well to the oxidized fuel line. This is also positive in that it is easy to remove. I used zip ties to make sure it doesn't unravel.

Works as advertised and the price is right. I turned to a few online motorcycle dealers for help combating the heat emanating from my motorcycle seat. The sets they advertised mostly consisted of two or three strips of this tape or its equivalent. With this roll I got about 5 times more tape for less money. Btw it works great, the heat coming through the seat is virtually non-existent on my Victory Cross Country.

This thermo-tec thermal tape was the solution to my problem! I installed an aftermarket 3.4 gallon IMS gas tank on my Yamaha YZ400f and the new tank had a drain cock on the opposite side just above the exhaust pipe so I was concerned about transferring heat to the new gas line. I have thermally wrapped a routed gas line with this product along with an exhaust pipe wrap and the heat transfer has been greatly reduced. Good product!
