I had the owner's manual for my 1994 Vanguard fanless heater, used the part number straight from the book and found my part exactly the same. I couldn't believe it. The exchange lasted 3-5 minutes. Perfection!

My propane heater stopped working recently and I found the correct thermocouple at Revain to replace the faulty one. I installed it and it worked very well with the replacement.

Repaired two heaters from two different manufacturers over 10 years apart. If your check engine light doesn't come on and you don't need an ODN, there's a good chance this will fix what you have. Keep in mind that they are usually reverse-threaded.

Although the thermocouple is slightly longer than the original, this thermocouple performed like a champ when repairing a 27 year old Martin Gas 2 10K BTU wall heater. Note: Make sure the small spool that also fits into the control valve is in place and not loose.

The unit I had had no make or model identification, should have been replaced somewhere before we bought this house. I took a chance and bought this thermocouple and it worked great, fit perfectly. For this reason I titled my review .perhaps the universal thermocouple.

My Procom ventless gas or propane fireplace now works. The fireplace switches off after about 3 minutes of medium combustion. I was a little afraid that I would have to buy a new fireplace. I spoke to several people, they said to change the thermocouple. I started looking for this thermocouple on the internet. Bought and installed the same evening. My fireplace is working again. I'm happy. Now the Ohio River Valley heat has returned to me.

I placed an order on Saturday and it was in my inbox on Wednesday with free shipping. This is one whose filaments are rarer than those you typically see on the more common thermocouples. I believe the gas valve on my 30" blue flame heater was made in Italy. I bought it earlier and it solved the problem after blowing dust out of the tube on the igniter didn't stop the igniter from going off. 5 stars thanks

This thread is coarse. I already bought one but the thread was too thin. There appear to be two types, with fine threads being much more common. I'll try to see if I can calculate the number of threads, or in some other way than coarse and fine, describe them and add to this review. Once you have it, it's impossible to tell if it's gross or subtle without comparing something. I didn't know until I ordered and got the wrong one.
