It's great for checking the temperature in my reptile enclosures. It's pretty accurate compared to my more expensive one.

Works as advertised, bought to find cool spots for insulation around windows. As it's only June, we'll see how it fares this fall - initial testing shows it's detecting temperatures perfectly. Saved over $7 by purchasing a refurbished Revain instead of a local tool chain that is also well priced.

I use it I like that it takes 2 AAA batteries instead of a 9V battery, they're a bit easier to find, great for what I need I know not how right it was but i know i have tested temps on other things and they read very accurate or the same so seems good, doesn't like that it beeps every time you release the button, but not a bad buy

The thermometer corresponds to the description. It is perfect, it can be used for room air conditioning, it can measure the outdoor ambient temperature, and I can use it for cooking, I no longer worry about my cookies being burned, the quality is good. I love this laser infrared thermometer. Works great and remotely. I am very happy with my purchase.

After reading a surface, the device wants to "remember" that temperature when it's pointing at something else, even if they're significantly different. I often have to pull the trigger 4 to 6 times before it resets. Don't lose the instructions - it's very easy to change the settings unintentionally. You need them to reset the settings.

It's definitely charming, a little smaller than I expected but by no means a downside. Also a very nice shade of blue. However, I can't get it to accurately report the temperature of certain objects, including myself. It may need to be calibrated, but if it does I don't recall reading a guide on how to do that. Instructions on how to do this may be included and I could have lost them without reading them. I'm assuming it should be repairable, but I'm not sure if this will work with the hardware

I have a feeling they are all pretty much the same. However, this one works pretty well. Good enough for typical use of such a device. Automotive, Household, Industrial etc. My house temperature is set at 73f. I tested a ceramic lamp base and got 73.2, a painted wall 73.4, a plasterboard ceiling 74.3, the back to another wall 73.5 and my gaming TV screen 91.2, in my freezer 11, 4 (an old school freezer, gauge I keep in there reads about 10), my leftover rigatoni for dinner reheated to 110f and…
