design error! - no indication, open or closed

This glass looks beautiful. I bought it because it has a small hook for my tea ball and is insulated. The insulated part is great - keeps drinks hot for a long time. It also retains liquid well. However, the MAIN design flaw. There is no indication whether it is sealed or opened for drinking. Every time I drank tea I had a 50/50 chance if it was open or closed. To solve this problem I had to tip the cup to the ground to see if anything squirted out. It's supposed to be leakproof, which it is…

Cons

Unacceptable lid design

I don't understand why all these people are turning their backs on thermoses with those horrible lids - well documented problems. 1/ The lid consists of 8 parts that need to be disassembled and reassembled. If you drink something with milk and sugar, you're in bad shape. 2/ They have no marking telling you where the spouts are and it's all black so you just can't see most of the…

Pros
  • Made of heavy duty stainless steel inside and out, the jar is built to last
Cons
  • I'll write back

If left overnight, hot liquids will be warm in the morning and cold liquids will be quite cool. A year later, the Sipp is still completely watertight, even if it is completely upside down. Flaws, but no flaws. + I wash everything by hand, and Sipp is easy to clean, except for the indentation where the cracks are. This may not be a…
