2 year (almost) update: Looking good after almost two years of almost daily use. There are dents on the bottom from falls but works like new. So far there are almost no scratches, except for drops. Very happy with the durability! I bought the black version of this thermos a few years ago. 4 month update: My solution was still working when someone at work decided I didn't need the thermos anymore and happily stole it from me. I think they saw how much I liked it and decided it was easier to steal than buy it yourself. So I came back to buy another one. This is a 3 year review. I bought this thermos in 2013. I've never used it for cold drinks. only hot I make coffee mixed with butter, MCT oil and various powders. This is primarily a drink that I keep in it. Plus hot coffee. I hand wash with a mixture of dish soap and vinegar with no problems with the varnish.
