🚽 Thetford Marine Porta Potti 92828 – 260P Review

He's only 12 inches tall! My seventy year old body is having a hard time recovering from deep squats! The seat circumference is more suitable for babies! Using this invaluable camping tool requires unusual toilet habits!

Looks well built but very small seat to sit on and do your own thing. Forget putting "your bag" in a bowl when you're seated. I have to keep her off the block. It looks like a children's toilet. But it serves its purpose on a sailboat.

We had a problem with the old Porta Potti's accordion pump - we wanted to order just the pump but the price was around $25 and the new Porta Potti is less than $130 :-) . So we ordered this one and it arrived on time and looks and works great.

Like other Thetford models this works great and should last a long time. Other companies I've looked at look like cheap Thetford imitations. Details are important - you don't want it to be messy when you empty it. My first lasted 5 years even after a bear ate holes in it and rolled it down a hill. I have nothing bad to say about Thetford products and there are no exceptions. I've had this toilet for almost 6 months now, no problems, no leaks, use it in combination with a deodorizer, there's really no bird smell. 2.5 gallons of fresh water (for flushing) is plentiful. This appears to be a very well made product. Very durable and compact. The only thing I would recommend before purchasing is to pay close attention to the model number as there are two different sub-models of the 260P. I had to contact Thetford to find out who was who.
