This stool comes in a flat zipped section that can be filled with anything to create more volume. Therefore, if you add the filling unevenly, it will not hold its shape well. But if you're careful, it fills up nicely and looks really nice on resting feet. Both of mine are stuffed full of old clothes and old beach towels.

The size is perfect. It's more than I thought it would be and it's great. Instead of buying stuffing, I stuffed it with some old blankets that I don't use anymore but didn't want to throw away and filled it perfectly! Great idea for storing old or rarely used blankets or other items (old coats, clothes, etc.). It's really well made and beautiful. Thanks - I will buy more.

I couldn't actually use this color because it didn't work with my other colors, but I was tempted to change all the other colors because I loved this turquoise so much! I was also surprised that this is its own stool. To me, this is a neutral feature, but it can be important to understand before purchasing. It's open, you just have to read the details. Seems like a good value.

Wow what a great product and price! We sold our house and live full time in Big Horn 5th Wheel, space is tight but we wanted an ottoman, seen it, ordered it, filled it up and people are surprised it looks like an already filled ottoman 😃 there is a trick Fill it up and trust me when I say it lasts a lot! The trick is to be patient and remember to fill in the pages. I stuffed mine with extra towels and winter sweaters and stuffed even more 3 days after things calmed down!

After filling it looks more like a sphere. Mine is really lumpy from being stuffed with my kid's old stuffed animals and that's okay. But I have to imagine whatever filling you use to make sure the product is filled enough to hold the foot, it will certainly be shaped like a ball. The description says something about "landing". I recommend purchasing a specially designed filling for this purpose. I bought it because I thought wow, great idea. vault! So I used old rolled towels and such, it's been a long time since I bought it and I can't remember what I put in there because it took a lot more filling than I thought OR for that in the Was able to get there so it doesn't look clumpy.
