Just a great product

I had an X330. In short, it was destroyed. I would really like to keep it. The X330 has been used in very hot climates and has never had any problems with the condenser inside. No case warping, bloating or other hot battery issues. I have had a camera for 3 years. It's basically the same device with a few extra bells and whistles if you're using a GPS adapter, which I haven't used before, from the lesser-featured x330. Also, it has a touchscreen and can play videos directly on the screen. So if

Everything I want from a DVR is here!

The adhesive on this is much better than the adhesive cameras and I'm sure it won't fall off the windshield in the Oklahoma summer heat. I've been using it for a few days now and have no problems. If you drive an SUV, the backup camera cable may not be long enough to hide it. So be prepared to make the sacrifice to make the cables running through your SUV visible. It'll probably take me a few months to learn the camera options, but if it's something like my wife's Thinkware x500d it'll have…

Works with additional features not found in other DVRs

Good camera with features you want in a DVR: Pros: Can use a 64GB micro SD card. Scatter detection. Cons: The 170-degree wide-angle camera distorts the video, causing objects to appear further in the center of the video. Fixed mount so cannot be changed once in place. The small screen makes it difficult to see the image. Entrance, can not use the secondary market at a lower price. Got this because I was looking for a dash cam with GPS capability. that this device has. I liked the fact that it…

Works well but should have been better

Bought just before a long trip to see the stunning scenery along the route and also for safety reasons if traffic in the area is heavy. If I had to list pros and cons from my experience it would be: Pros: i) Record high definition video along the entire route. ii) Works well even in broad daylight. iii) Setup was easy, as were the additional features such as the red light signal for moving traffic lights, lane departure warning, and visual and audible whereabouts alerts. Disadvantages: i) The…

Very good camera but a bit pricey but worth it!

Excellent camera! I have bought many cheaper DVRs but they only lasted 2 or 3 months and then blew. You can buy these at Wal-Mart for $39. After buying 5 of these I started to think it was because they sit in the heat day in and day out and maybe it has something to do with it. That's when I found this device, and it even says it's set to a high temperature in the window. Yes it's a lot more expensive but if it lasts 10 times longer than the junk I bought it will pay for itself. I also have a…

Excellent clarity and recording quality highly recommended!

I've been looking for this product for 6 hours and I'm very happy with it: 1- installed by my mechanic 2- I can turn the sound on or off to alert me that it's about a continuous recording acts while I drive and turn off the engine in parking mode. I turn off the sound when I'm servicing the car so they don't know they're being recorded and it doesn't bother them. two, so if something happens it's easy to see. It also beeps when it's writing something to save to another file (like driving over a

Great DVR for the price

I had a Thinkware X350 that lasted 2.5 years but died. It wouldn't turn on due to a blown fuse, but after replacing the fuse it still wouldn't turn on. Since I already had a wired kit from a previous NVR, I wanted to get another Thinkware NVR. I have the X700 which is almost the same as the X350 but there are many new features but I miss the Wi-Fi from the X350. It was as easy as turning on the dash cam's WiFi to upload videos to your phone via the Thinkware app. The X700 does not have this…
