Replacement Cleats

These cleats do exactly what they are designed to do and last as long as Shimano cleats. I'm a taller rider and sprinter and have never broken a pair. Cleats are an item that wears out over time, but at this price point, it's easy to swap them out when needed without thinking twice.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Unbeatable Price

The pedal doesn't fit!

Although these cleats LOOK like Shimano and the description says they will fit a Shimano pedal system, they don't. They are about a millimeter thicker than they allow the rider to hook into the pedal. So frustrating! We ended up buying the identical Shimano brand and they fit perfectly. Save your money - it is much more profitable to buy only the Shimano brand.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Bad experience

Looks just as good as the original

At half the price these look and feel exactly like the original Shimano I have strapped to my shoes. I don't know durability but time will tell. I've only had 2 rides with them, 2 hours and then just over 1 hour the other day and so far so good. They fit perfectly on the shoes, putting them on and taking them off seems normal. Can't say anything bad about them, the package includes two brackets, all the screws/washers and a wrench to install them.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Don't waste your money

Waste of money. Bought these for the price. Fitted them to my street boots for the first time, couldn't open them, made some adjustments and still couldn't open them when I had to rotate my foot almost 45 degrees before they popped open. Removed them and bought Shimano Originals and no problem. Go for originals and don't waste money on the purchase. I would have sent them back but they were made in such a way that I threw them in the trash.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Absolutely amazing spare boot

These are my spare boots when not racing. They are very comfortable and ideal for one-way trips of 45 to 60 miles. These cleats seem to last longer as I don't use cleat covers and thus destroy the floor. My mistake. I have several pairs for parts. I drive 8000-10000km a year. I hope I was able to answer your questions. Please make sure to mark the old kit before replacing it with the new one, as the alignment may be broken, causing discomfort in the feet. Remember to always use your helmet…

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Not the best

A worthy replacement for the official Shimano spikes.

So far they have held up well as they are a bit heavier for the driver. The official ones are around 15-20% heavier compared to the weight of the boot and they're a little harder to carve than the official ones, probably around 20-30% harder compared to fresh boots. The higher clipping difficulty might confuse you a little if you're used to easier clipping (potential security issue). Some other differences are that the bottom two slots are narrower than the official lugs, so with them you also…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Close to reality!

I needed to replace my Shimano cleats and as usual I ended up on the Revain website and saw these exact cleats. They look just like the ones I've used for years. As usual I never replace an entire pair, I always use the cleat on my right foot to replace the worn one on my left foot as I always unclip that foot when I stop so the right one is rarely used. . In any case, after replacing the cleats as I had described, I found that I had an issue with the new cleat I had just received. The Thinvit…

Decent quality is best at replacement cleats

Update: I received replacement cleats after posting the review below. Most issues have been fixed. Mounting holes are in the center of the screw pattern. The fits have become better and no longer interfere with snapping. The corners of the mounting holes are still slightly rounded, which limits the adjustment options a bit, but that was enough for me. I snap the cleats inside the boot to accommodate my wide feet and pedal open-toed. The replacement spikes cost better than the ones I originally…
