Still better than too small

Product works and does what it should. But for me it was too deep. Still better than too small. So I used my dremel with a thin cutting wheel to get about half the depth. This worked for my needs. What happened was that the previous homeowner put the casing in the room and left the stubs open with no decent covers and a gap of about 3/8 inch in the casing hole to the start of the box. I don't think it was very safe so I was happy to get a product like this. It would be nice if they offered…

They are strong but not too thick

For the splashback renovation, they worked well to extend my exit fronts to the new tile finish. They are sturdy but not too thick, they fit well in the New Work boxes in my walls, don't wobble and don't take up too much space. GFCI bushings fit inside. They are shaped to fit the New Work boxes, so I couldn't fit them into the rework box that I had previously installed. This particular remake box had extra footage in the top left corner that prevented the box expansion from being included in…

Great when used as directed

If the distance from the box to the outside wall is less than 1/4 inch, this extension will not sit flush with the wall. See photos 1 and 2. The part where the screw holes are is 1/4" deep. This product is designed to fill the gap in a properly installed box. If you see the manufacturer's promotional materials and videos, it is located the power strip in a "perfect world".
