Bought for batteries, disappointed.

I bought this kit mainly for batteries so they can be charged and ready for my two LED work lights which require 18650s. The standard bulb in my flashlight (Bauer by HF) runs for 2.5 to 3 hours, only dims slightly until the power LED turns red, and then turns the light off briefly. All 4 of these batteries, rated for more than double the HF batteries, will gradually begin to discharge over a period of 5 or 10 minutes, after which the red low battery indicator will illuminate. It will still work

Batteries and charger are important

I have another smaller version of this flashlight with a rechargeable battery. It has all the same features as this one (adjustable focus, magnifying glass, rechargeable 18650 battery, etc.). My old one uses only one battery and I thought the new one was a lot more powerful, but it's only slightly brighter. It might last longer with two batteries, but don't expect this to be a flamethrower. I used a Li-Ion 18650 and a NiMH AA charger and it works fine. It's nice to have a device that can charge

Good deal for batteries and charger but the light leaves a lot to be desired.

Fast light output - 150-200 lumens at best - Won't survive immersion in water - 100 meters of usable light, 200 meters at best when trying to illuminate a reflective object. ) - If you need extra (button) batteries and a charger then this is a decent kit. Long version for those who want to read more. The light leaves a lot to be desired. In no way does it come close to the specified lumens. In fact, it's probably closer to 150-200.
