Cheaply made, rubber tips fell off on first use. Without them, it is difficult to grab the filter. It didn't work in the end and I used something else to remove the filter.

I tried this on a 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD diesel oil filter. It kept slipping and couldn't remove the filter. I ended up getting a hood type that was the exact size of the filter to remove. This is a normal product. Good idea.

I bought this to replace what I am currently using in the shop. It had a similar shape so I figured it would work the same way. nope I have used different ratchets with many different sized filters, all that and now it doesn't matter that it doesn't hold the oil filter to loosen it just keeps sliding, doesn't loosen the filter. I ended up getting a better quality one from Walmart and it works as expected

Bought to replace my Kawasaki Prairie's oil filter but still undersized. Wouldn't close tight enough to get a good grip on the filter. It just kept sliding. I had to get a small plumber's wrench to remove the filter. A bigger filter would be nice. I hope it fits a slightly larger lawnmower. Like the design, it just needs more grip.

I couldn't find my old filter wrench that I've been using for decades so I decided to give this one a try. It just slipped around the end of the filter. It has no clutch at all. I only hand tightened my filters and after wasting 20 minutes on this useless contraption I hand tightened the filter. When I return it, I find my old wrench from the oil change. Don't waste money on it.
