Not PERFECT as good as die cut sheets, but a BIG thing!

I would say I prefer the medium weight pre-cut sheets I bought from Revain (not on this particular list) as they were easier to tear and grip than to cut. I thought it would annoy me to have to cut every sheet, but I still bought this 100 yard roll just for the price - and as it turns out, I don't mind cutting every time at all. I usually just cut out as many leaves as possible while the project is being stitched, so I have a stack to pick from. But most importantly, this backing is a bit more…

Pros
  • βœ… Tear-off stabilizer for a neat and professional look after excess stabilizer is torn off after embroidery. Can be easily torn in any direction.
Cons
  • Long Dispatch

100 Yard Standard Roll Stabilizer

This stabilizer is comparable to SULKY Stiffy in terms of weight and tear strength. It is much heavier than the SULKY Tear-Easy and about twice as heavy as the SULKY Totally Stable. I use it for stapling paper and would like it to be a little easier to tear, but am very happy to find something that is at least 20 inches wide in a 100 yard roll. On the other hand, it withstands a lot of manipulation very well. , pleating and ironing are important to the sewing process of the large roman blinds I

Pros
  • βœ… This heavy 2.8 oz (80 g) stabilizer is detachable and ideal for high stitch density projects.
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

OK with some caveats

I am new to machine embroidery and used the universal stabilizer sold at the store where I bought the machine. I found this product online and found it to be much better value for money so I bought it. Although this is a very good quality product, it has some limitations. When I first saw this product upon delivery I was amazed at the quality. It has a texture which is very similar to the intermediate materials used in the manufacture of clothing. Product sold in my local store was more like…

Pros
  • βœ… Very easy to use. Simply attach the tear-away backing to the fabric and then sew. After completing your project, tear off any excess stabilizer near the stitches for a professional look.
Cons
  • No Productivity
