Nut below when you screw it onto the thread holder post the stand wobbles. We have to do this to use it, very very poor quality - the remnants of the thread also resonate.

I have never had a thread stand but as my business expands more toys are needed. That helped me alot. Durable and easy to store/assemble. Good product! Highly recommended.

This is just what I needed. The base is heavy, so it's pretty durable. I've read reviews of other similar protector stands that weren't well made. This is very well made and the threads fit perfectly. We recommend.

This is a great product. There is only one problem and that's why it only gets 4 stars. The post you hang the thread from doesn't stay where it should. So if you forget it and move it by the small metal rod, it will detach from the base and have to be put back in place.

I bought this because my sewing machine only has vertical bobbin holders and I often sew with spiral/cross threads that are designed to be pulled from above , rather than not on the side. This stand gives me a vertical feed so my filament doesn't twist/break more often. It's heavy and doesn't "walk" on the table etc. My only complaint was that I couldn't get it on the table, although the seller was quick to contact me and walked me through the setup (They didn't screw up the bars completely…
