I was going to use them on a tree but my branch wasn't very straight and it was difficult to adjust the length of one strap relative to the other when I was at the top of the stairs. The trees are entirely to blame. I ended up using them on a large porch beam and hanging a baby swing. Works great and I would buy it again.

These straps are ideal for hanging a child's swing from a branch. Extra large (8 inch) branch. They snap into place so there is no friction against the bark of the tree and have a carabiner for swinging the swing. Easy to set up and very durable. I expect them to last a long time as they seem to be very durable.

This item is an absolute must if you prefer not to rely on drilled hooks for your swing. It leaves no damage to the house or the tree. In fact, this product makes it easy to change the swing's location or remove it for longer storage during the rainy season. I know swings get wet and that's nature. But rust isn't the company I like to have.

I was able to slip these straps over a sturdy branch while my daughter waited for me in the stroller. I made it in 5 minutes then I attached a baby swing to it. voila swing on the tree. No tools were needed, I didn't have to wrap the straps because I wanted her little swing close to the ground. I might have needed help wrapping her up a second time. We've used it twice so far so much fun!

Looks strong enough, but one of the straps is about 2 inches longer than the other and they are NOT adjustable. As a result, the hooks do not hang at the same height and the swing is crooked. Pretty bad quality control. I would have returned them if I had opened them earlier, but it's too late now. I'll buy rope or something adjustable at the local hardware store - it was a waste of time.

I was very lucky that my child was not injured. The obvious cause of a belt breakage is the lack of a guard between the belt and the branch. The lack of belt protection led to wear of the belt through the bark and thus to total failure. Customer service responded to the one star review and kindly replaced the straps. Use a seat belt when using with non-small baby swings. Excellent customer service ranges from 1 star to 5 stars.

There were no recommendations for this product. The regulation is also not clear. The straps were two different lengths, making it even more difficult to "attach" the attached baby swing. So now the swing is hanging askew on the branch of our tree. The "adjustable" straps were made adjustable by a continuous loop through the rings and around and around the branch. I am disappointed in my purchase and feel misled by this company's product description. Think twice before you order.
