Tibet Almond Stick Pack 2 Review

I bought some of these from a friend's father when I was little. Just rub it on a scratch on the furniture and voila. This is no more! It seemed like magic then, and now it's very much like the same thing. I may be better at spotting imperfections since I got into furniture finishing, but this is a very handy item to have on hand for minimal scratches and disguise.

Although this product works as advertised it is much smaller than the original. The jar it comes in hasn't changed in size (should have tons of jars in inventory) but the wand size is less than half the original. As a result, it's not that easy to use, but it seems to work. It was just a shock when I opened the jar and found a thin stick inside. The originals almost completely filled the glass.

Yes it works on SOME wood scratches but I've encountered MANY small scratches that it can't handle. I bought it because Home Handyman Magazine raved about it as a must have for your workshop. I expressly disagree with this assessment. Again, it works on many scratches but not many others, and leaves a visible oily residue. NONE of this was mentioned in Home Handyman magazine.

I first used this product about 15 years ago but the seller discontinued it years ago. I found it here recently and filled it up! I love this little wand. Minor scratches, water marks, etc. are easily concealed and the effect lasts 2 weeks to a month before further touch-ups are required. I highly recommend it to decorate wooden furniture, cabinets, wooden doors and the like.

I have been using this product for a decade or more and have found it to work well on scratched oak and Douglas fir. You simply rub the oil stick into the scratch and then wipe away the excess oil. Since my old stick eventually dried out and became a bit rough through daily use, I ordered these replacement devices. The oil seems to be the same. WORKS VERY WELL ON RED OAK, WALNUT AND SPECIALLY TEAK. NEVER ENDS AS IT COMES AS A STICK AND AFTER A FEW YEARS JUST ORDER A NEW ONE. VERY EASY TO USE, DOES THE JOB AND HAS THREE OF THEM IN THE HOUSE. CARE OF CAT AND DOG SCRATCHES. NOT YOUR FAULT; BUT THIS IS AN EASY SOLUTION. SIMPLY RUB THE STICK OVER THE SCRATCH. I HAD DAMAGE TO MYSELF AND THAT WILL TAKE CARE OF IT. LONG LONG BECAUSE IT REALLY WORKS. TOO AFFORDABLE.

My closet gave me one of these thirty years ago and I still use it. I had them given to an employee who installed doors in schools. A wave of Tibetan almond stick and small scratches disappeared. Deeper scratches can still be seen on closer inspection, but are not noticeable at all. This saved cabinet doors, furniture and all that other wood that could get scratched. They're not as strong as my thirties, but they still work the same magic.

Absolutely Amazing! I ordered expensive walnut dining chairs and they were all damaged upon delivery (and had some manufacturing defects/scratches).
