The smell is VERY strong

I have been using Tide Cold Water liquid detergent for many years but decided to try the capsules. Overall a great product and as far as I can tell the pods clean well; However, I had to stop using it as the smell is VERY strong and lingers on clothes for a long time. If strong smells don't bother you, this product is a great option. But for those of you who are more sensitive to certain smells, you can stick to liquids or use Tide Free & Gentle capsules instead.

They do not need to be purchased specifically for cold water. seems ALL Tide® capsules now work in cold water

I bought these because high efficiency washing machines use less water - sometimes my capsules didn't fully dissolve in cold water. AHA! Why not buy capsules specifically designed for cold water? Fool - according to the latest Tide® ad, ALL Tide® capsules dissolve in cold (even ice cold) water. They were a bit more expensive than what I can buy at my local store and now that ALL Tide pods are cold water compatible - why spend the extra money on Tide pods for a specific temperature?

The ONLY detergent I use

My grandma only used Tide so I use it, it's just the brand I grew up with. We spend a lot of money on clothes, so you should use a good detergent to keep them clean. When I discovered Tide ColdWater I fell in love. It's the best of both worlds, it's Tide and ColdWater so I know my clothes and my kids' clothes will always be clean, stain and color free and not faded.
