Only works on flat spots

This should only be for perfectly flat spots like a thigh or upper or lower arm because it needs to be tight because I used it on my stomach and as soon as I bent over at all it came unstuck.

Pros
  • Provides complete protection from water and moisture during showers
Cons
  • The packaging may not be durable and may tear easily, leading to difficulties in storage and transportation

Water proof! good for me

My husband has two lines in to main artery for dialysis and it is very dangerous so we were very happy to find a product that shielded the lines and skin from getting wet. Works better t Han using baggie and tape.

Pros
  • Made without latex, making it safe for sensitive skin
Cons
  • The packaging may not provide clear instructions or information about how to properly use the product

The removal is easy as well

It works well and shield the mediport from water. The removal is easy as well. I wish this comes in 8X8 as well. 7X7 is a little small and 9X9 is too big.

Pros
  • Ideal for use in hospitals, clinics, or at home
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for use on wounds that require frequent changes of dressing or bandages

The don’t work! best in my review

Tried using these things to cover cardio latch. Within seconds of shower, they start coming loose and must be held in place to complete the shower. They were literally falling off by the time I finished showering.

Pros
  • Latex-free design ensures it is safe for people with latex allergies
Cons
  • The AquaGuard Sheet may not be suitable for use on wounds that require specialized medical attention or treatment

Same brand the hospital gave us

My mom got some of these from the hospital after they inserted a catheter in her chest. They told us it was extremely important to not get the catheter wet because it would cause infection which could be fatal. It took us a time or two to get it just right, but once we figured out how to apply it so that there would be no leaks we have used these successfully for 8 weeks now (showering every other day) and have had only very minor leaks a few times. This was probably due to not sealing it well…

Pros
  • Perfect for covering surgical incisions. Adhesive strong enough for two uses. Highly recommend.
Cons
  • It did not stick. Bought to cover J tube so my son could swim. But did not work.

This is an excellent product! I use it for a chest catheter .

This is an excellent product! I use it for a chest catheter that went in at the first of the year. It works great. I actually developed my own DIY cover using sandwich bags and waterproof tape. That worked but was time consuming to make and apply. It also would often leak. I do not take a direct shower hit with this and also line the top and sides with waterproof tape. I have experienced a few small leaks but it is much better than my DIY version.

Pros
  • Works well to keep dressing dry in the shower and is easy to remove after.
Cons
  • Doesn’t sick to skin very well. Leaks water. Comes undone with movement

Worked great - my new review

These were exactly what we needed. My husband has a tunneled catheter in the left side of his chest and we needed something to protect the dressing/catheter from getting wet when he showers. These fit perfectly over the incision and tubes, and nothing got wet. I will say that hubby is very careful to keep left side of his body turned away from shower so water does not hit him directly on that side of his body.

Pros
  • Non-invasive, making it ideal for individuals who may be afraid of needles
Cons
  • The AquaGuard Sheet may not be suitable for use by individuals who are allergic to certain types of medical-grade plastics

Didn't work on my review.

Unable to use to submerge in a pool, fell off in the shower too. Used it for my elderly mom that has varicose vein ulcers. That's my review.

Pros
  • Water-resistant design to prevent leaks during showering
Cons
  • The AquaGuard Sheet may not be suitable for use during activities that require frequent contact with water, such as washing dishes or gardening

While these are easy top it on, they do not stay on. The adhesive or tape doesn’t hold them down. I had to use other tape and put it all around the bags.

Pros
  • A cost-effective solution for wound care
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for use on wounds located near sensitive areas, such as the face or genitals

They don't stay stuck

Had a plurex put in & got these so I could shower. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Not even 5 minutes into my shower the whole thing was coming off. Since the plurex goes straight to the lung & cannot get wet at all I had to get out that instant. I would never recommend these ever!

Pros
  • Prevents wound infections by keeping them dry during showering
Cons
  • The AquaGuard Sheet may not allow for easy monitoring or inspection of the wound, leading to potential complications

horrible would not stick at all

did not stick at all what so ever. So disappointed I guess i have to wait 3 more wks before i can bathe. thanks for taking my money and not delivering. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Pros
  • Can be cut to fit any size or shape of wound
Cons
  • The product may not provide adequate protection against bacteria or other contaminants found in water sources
