Worked great with the new roller on my trailer. I ended up not using caps, but instead drilled and tapped the ends and screwed them on. They work the same way, but now I don't worry about them anymore.

I bought end caps that fit the outside of the reel and the reel bolt was too short. Also, I hate nuts mate. Better a hole in the bolt and use a crankcase pin.

I don't know. it bent. When I loaded the boat for the first time, I noticed when I got home that my roll was not touching the keel. The roll sagged in the middle and won't roll! I doubt my 19" Cobia center console is too heavy for this! darn. It was also a good new video. Spring. I think I'll just use a class 8 bolt if I can find one that's long enough.
