Need info on why my sensors are on and beeping constantly. Installed easily, tested ok but after pulling into the driveway I put the car in reverse to test and got a 0.0 with both lights on red. Need troubleshooting advice or a new set.

I'm spoiled with sensors in the rear so when backing up they tell me if I can continue backing up or if I need to stop. Installation is simple and straightforward. I have installed them on several cars and the installs are on my youtube channel WJ Handy Dad.

Our 2017 Ford Escape came with a backup camera but no backup sensors. The product was easy to install and works well. The only problem was finding a good spot to mount the light sensor on the dash. Would recommend for any car that doesn't have backup sensors.

My brake lights are on the trunk lid, so when I hooked up the power wire near the brake lights, I was missing about a meter of wire to the ECU.

Bought two sensors first and returned both; one had a damaged power cord and one had no power cord at all. Two backordered, however there were two different versions of the sensor; One pack came with a monitor (buzzer) which has a switch to turn the buzzer on and off like the ones ordered the first time, while the second set does not have a buzzer switch. I do not recommend this seller.

Controller can be too sensitive to randomly indicate distance to obstacles with an annoying beep when I just stall and fall back in reverse. The rubber clamps on the sensors are too soft and break easily. The double-sided tape for the controller is not strong enough, falls off after a few minutes, it needs to be replaced with 3M all-weather double-sided tape. I might pay more for a better product than a cheap product, but I'm less satisfied.

Redundant sensor works as expected. The red basically matches the bumper color of my 2004 F350 and looks nice. I recommend using a Unibit instead of the included cutter. Ring cutters don't cut steel as well. Use a cotton swab and some primer to sand down bare metal after the holes are drilled. Once the primer is dry, use a bit of touch up paint if you feel the need.
