YES, they work! fits under flush water filter

Not sure if they would fit my water filter system as I've had it for a very long time! They work! I'm very glad I have them as my filtration system uses two filters.

Complete set with these filters under the sink

These filters are GE Mfr. Fake but fit perfectly and does the job perfectly. Keep a few spares handy as GE no longer makes affordable ones. Shame on you!

Pros
  • Looks great
Cons
  • No instructions

he fits! GE SmartWater FQSVF!

It takes a few strong hands to successfully install this extremely dense cartridge. Our 2nd order. We opened up a used cartridge to see how clogged and dirty it was. Super hard activated carbon. The first filter was full of sand and debris. The second filter looked almost new.

  • Satisfied so far

easy to install

The product works well, it's easy to install and the water tastes better and is of better quality. My only caveat is that it's so expensive. After 2 changes I went over the price of the original system including installation. It also doesn't last longer than 6 months. I want you to sell a more competitive and cheaper alternative.

Pros
  • Don't waste time
Cons
  • Reliability

NSF/ANSI standard 42 instead of 53

They work as advertised for flavor related filters like chlorine and haze, but they don't filter other health related things. Filters that require NSF/ANSI 53 certification typically include: heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead, mercury, and selenium), inorganics (fluorides and nitrates plus nitrites), and volatile organic chemicals (chloroform substitutes as well as individual organics substances). chemicals).

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Negligible maintenance

Both filters started leaking immediately after installation.

I just installed TIER1-US-SVF-RF GE replacement FQSVF filters, as soon as I turned the water back on both filters started leaking GE from the start. This is not rocket science, I have changed these filters every 3 months for the last 6 years and yes I have followed the instructions and only ordered genuine GE filters

Pros
  • 6 MONTHS/300 GALLERS FILTER LIFE: By replacing your water filter every 6 months or 300 gallons, whichever comes first, your water will stay tasting good.
Cons
  • Requires socket

Updated model. Leaking and no longer fitting properly

I am so sad. I've used these filters for the last couple of filter changes but according to Discount Filters they will not be replaced again. Please look at the photos. Old model on the right. Left is new. The UPC and label are the same, but note that the "screw" at the top is missing the gap that holds the filter in place. Inside, the filters look completely different. The new one has a central plastic ring and a black gasket. When installed, the old filters do not flow. The new filters have a
