Decent quality filter bag

I don't use many filters but this bag will fit some loose filters I have (those that didn't come with larger cases). My only concern is that the fabric may attract/hold grit/grit if you ever accidentally step on it. I shoot outdoors and in remote locations most of the time. Sometimes dirt. Actually a lot of dirt. In the end some of them will fall into my hands and into this business.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • boring packaging

Very good filter bag.

When I travel with my camera I like to take some filters with me โ€“ a circular polarizer, maybe an ND filter. It is important to me to have a secure wallet. The Tiffen Filter Wallet gives me quick access to my filters (instead of putting the filters together and then unscrewing them to access the filter I want). The filter bag is foldable for easy storage. Areas for improvement: 1. Wallet hanging loop with filter2. Perhaps a wallet containing 9 filters - 3 across and 3 pleated.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • neutral

Well made although large for my needs

Thought I needed a bigger bag than the 4 pocket version. In practice, I'll probably need a smaller bag to carry the filters along with the camera to suit my photographic interests. This one is well made but a bit big for me. If I'm carrying a large camera and doing field photography, I'd be happy to have the space to carry a few more filters. The pouch is another quality product that I have come to expect from Tiffen. All in all, he rates it 5 stars. However, if you only carry a few filtersโ€ฆ

Large Portable Filter Holder

I still have a few physical filters that I use outside of Photoshop and this filter case holds them perfectly. By folding it up, larger filters fit better at the top. I have a few filters that I prefer to keep in their original cases and they barely fit. When I put them in the bottom slots, the wallet doesn't fold/roll where it should to line up the velcro. So if you can't part with old Cokin square filter housings with nice labels and nice photo examples, this might not be the best solutionโ€ฆ

Needs update: camera and photo

Filters are expensive. try to get one out without losing the rest. I would like a label or window for an outside. Or a color distinguishing feature so you can easily tell which 'black' wallet contains what without opening it to find out and exposing the filters inside to dust. The vast majority of photo gear is black, as is the case and the inner lining of these bags. the things that fit into the black bags should have a different color so that you can find what you are looking for even in poor

Poor Dust Cover

This filter housing uses a simple mesh to hold the filters in place, unlike the Tamrac 5329 and others that use a fully protective plastic housing. After folding for storage, the sides of the cover open. to the elements. Because the filters are only partially covered by the mesh, dust from your bag or the environment can get onto your filters. I will be using this to store replaceable filters that I don't use regularly. I wouldn't take it out in the field - there are much better options forโ€ฆ
