No more bats - pine resin

I like this pine resin. Not a single bat has slipped since it was used. Should be enough for a couple of seasons, unless you're Vlad Guerrero from the early 2000s, then maybe a game.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Out of style

Sticky mess and difficult to open

Difficult to open. Not torn like it says on the box. I had to use scissors which were damaged by sticky material and had to be thrown away. The lid didn't close, it was like a gooey goo, I didn't like that at all. Returned. I would use a spray or gel.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some problems

LOW QUALITY. made of pine resin

THE PRODUCT NEEDS TO BE KEPT OR STORED FOR LONG TIMES BECAUSE IT WAS NO MORE THAN A CURED MASS WHEN IT ARRIVED. ATTEMPTS TO SOFTEN IN THE MICROWAVE AND TOAST OVEN WERE NOT ALLOWED. IN THIS CONDITION THE PRODUCT WILL BE USED AS A WEAPON OF NON-MASS DESTRUCTION, CONTRASTING TO WHAT IT WAS ORIGINALLY INTENDED FOR.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great for warm weather

I used it on my tennis racket to improve grip. Works great in spring and summer. Gives me a much stickier grip. In the colder months, however, it tends to turn to plastic. Your body heat from your body will not be enough to bring the sticky/sticky feeling back. I would give it 5 stars in warm weather but only 3 in cold months.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No effect

Buy the genuine

Received this after reading the description hoping it would make a good substitute for pine tar and rosin which can be a bit messy at times. Stickiness lasted about 3 hits at best and wasn't overly strong in terms of enhanced traction. At temperatures below 65 degrees, it almost doesn't work either. Went back to pine resin and rosin, at least it works regardless of the temperature and offers a strong permanent hold.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Tiger Wand is the best!

I grew up in a time when liquid pine tar was applied to a rag and rubbed with it. Sure, it was effective, but impractical to carry around in a baseball bag. Eventually companies started making stick shaped racket grips and they worked well but since I came across the Tiger Stick for the last 8-10 years I've been using it exclusively. The stick from this lasts a long time and has never lost its stickiness (yes you will have to reapply the stick but I mean for the life of the stick itself) and it

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Works very well but most people use it incorrectly

Most people who give less than 5 stars have no idea how to use it. Don't apply it directly to the grip unless you have sports tape on the grip (I do). If you hold the racquet in a normal grip, apply it in a thick layer just above your grip and rub it with your hands. Uses this in high school and college baseball. Works very well. You need to apply it in a thick layer, press firmly and apply a good layer to the racquet. It really works in cold weather, unlike some people. Again, they just didn't
